Dr. Nikos Zervas is the CEO of CAST Inc, where he previously served as a COO, VP of Marketing and VP of Engineering. Since he joined CAST in 2010, Nikos has been instrumental in transforming CAST’s business model, forming strategic alliances, defining, developing and launching successful silicon IP core products, and increasing CAST’s revenue and profitability. Prior to working at CAST, Nikos co-founded Alma Technologies, and served as Chairman and CEO for nine years. Under his leadership Alma Technologies bootstrapped to become a reputable provider of cutting edge image and video compression silicon IP cores. Nikos served on the board of the Hellenic Semiconductor Industry Association from 2009 until 2013, where he was responsible for strategic planning. Nikos received a Diploma and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Patras Greece, in 1997 and 2003 respectively.
